Today (22 Sep 2014) at 11.40 a.m., we received a report from the Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate Office that there was a fire inside Building 4 of Thai Plastic and Chemicals Co., Ltd., Map Ta Phut Subdistrict, Mueang Rayong District, Rayong Province. Officials mobilized fire engines to put out the fire. At 1:20 p.m., the Mab Ta Phut Industrial Estate Office was notified that the fire was contained within a limited area. Only smoke from the fire in Building 4 of Thai Plastic and Chemicals Co., Ltd. remains.
